Ganesh Chaturthi - a tribute to tradition & sustainability at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai
Ganeshotsav has officially been declared as Maharashtra’s State Festival. Rooted in reverence, the 10-day celebration, which begins on Ganesh Chaturthi, holds deep cultural significance. Reimagined through a conscious sustainable design, the ‘Ganesha’ at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai, is a symbol of devotion in harmony with nature. Created using coconut husk, shells, green bamboo, jute thread, and money plants, this eco-friendly installation reflects a thoughtful approach to festive celebration. Situated just a short walk from the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja, the hotel becomes a sanctuary where age-old rituals meet mindful modernity. As Mumbai lights up in festivity, we honour the divine with a gesture that respects the earth — grounded, green, and gracefully crafted.
